2020年9月17雅思考試由四部分組成：

聽力：30分鐘加10抄寫答案的分鐘數(shù)。聽錄音，難度隨著考試的進行而增加。這些錄音包括獨白和對話、考生將聽到不同的英語口音和方言。錄音只能聽一次，但考生會有一段時間來閱讀問題并記錄答案。
