Wuzhen is an old water town in Zhejiang, located in the bank of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. Wuzhen is an attractive location with lots of ancient bridges, Chinese-styled hotels and restaurants. The river system and life styles of Wuzhen remained nearly unchanged over the past 1,000 years, and therefore Wuzhen became a museum revealing ancient civilization. All the houses in Wuzhen were built of stone-wood. Residences and markets were constructed along the river by the local people over hundreds of years.
