在高中的時(shí)候，有聽說過“志愿者”這個(gè)名詞，但對(duì)它真正的含義并不是很理解。進(jìn)入大學(xué)以后，我第一次明白原先各個(gè)高校都有志愿者這個(gè)隊(duì)伍。大一時(shí)由于某種原因，沒有到志愿者那兒報(bào)名參加面試，有點(diǎn)兒遺憾。隨著對(duì)志愿者的深入了解，我對(duì)自我說，怎們樣也得在大學(xué)四年當(dāng)一下志愿者，為社會(huì)服務(wù)。于是，在大一開學(xué)初，我就去報(bào)了名。
我明白志愿者所表述的是“奉獻(xiàn)、友愛、互助、提高”的精神。志愿者所做的，其實(shí)會(huì)在我們生活中不經(jīng)意的流露出來。
志愿者好像一盞燈，燈光亮一些，我們身邊的黑暗就會(huì)少一些。志愿者就是扶貧濟(jì)困，助人為樂的代名詞，它傳遞了愛心，傳播了禮貌，這種愛心與禮貌，其實(shí)離我們很近很近，近的觸手可及。

老人拉著我們的手滔滔不絕地述說開來。她講了她的生活，她的家庭。從談話中我模糊地明白老人在這六十年里，都是孤孤單單一個(gè)人，她的兒女拋棄了她，她住的房間還是政府借給他的，每月靠的是政府給予的補(bǔ)貼來維持生計(jì)的。老人一向在不停的表達(dá)著對(duì)我們的感激，她說要不是我們，她都不明白該怎樣辦。可是，我明白老人最需要的還不僅僅是生活上的幫忙，老人很孤單，需要有一個(gè)傾聽的對(duì)象，能夠聽聽她的心里話、能聽聽她的嘮叨、聽聽她述說生活上的一些瑣碎的事情，這樣她就十分滿足了。所以在整個(gè)過程中，老人都是十分高興的，除了談到她的家庭。
傾聽是心靈之花，傾聽能折射出純潔的熱情的光芒。傾聽時(shí)一縷清風(fēng)，它能吹撒籠罩在們心頭的陰霾;傾聽時(shí)劃破漆黑夜幕的流星，能給我們帶來期望;傾聽是一朵不敗的花，它能綻放出生命之蕊，換取人們的欣賞和信任。
所以，當(dāng)我么在傾聽老人的述說的過程中，老人多她的孤單找到了一種寄托，有了生活下來的力量。衷心地祝福老人健健康康的，我們一屆屆的大學(xué)生志愿者給她帶去歡樂。
